Solpor means ‘Sunset’ or ‘Twilight’ in Gallego, the local Galician language. This is our spacious one bedroomed apartment with an occasional sofabed for visiting families.
Entering the house under the artisan made canopy made from reclaimed beams, you will find a well appointed open plan kitchen and living room with downstairs cloakroom containing a wash basin and WC. The kitchen comprises an electric oven and ceramic hob, an undercounter fridge/freezer and a slimline dishwasher. A well equipped kitchen has plenty of storage space and the centre piece is a handmade chestnut table constructed from old partitioning.
The living room has a comfortable sofa (which converts to a two person bed) and two bucket chairs. There is a Bronpi corner wood-burning fire and a Smart TV with Bluray/DVD player.
Upstairs is a large bedroom with a comfortable bespoke 150cm x 200cm bed, armchair, storage chest and wardrobe with drawers. Off the landing is a large bathroom with a big walk-in shower.
Casa Solpor (Two people, plus extra double sofa-bed) is available to rent on a weekly basis during peak season (July, August and the first two weeks in September) for €650 per week (7 nights). Outside peak season it is available to rent for a minimum of three nights, at a rate of €110 per night, however, longer rentals are still welcome.
Get in touch if you’d like to make a provisional booking for 2022 and we can discuss what is possible.
